LOOK: Crocs launches 'Shrek'-inspired shoes
"Shrek is love, Shrek is life," as the fans say. And if you want this green Ogre in your life everywhere you go, then Crocs has the perfect shoes for you.
The American footwear company has officially dropped its latest product that takes inspiration from everyone's favorite green ogre, brought about by a new partnership with DreamWorks.
Described as "wonderfully hideous," the shoes each feature Shrek’s iconic nose, ears, and green-speckled skin to bring the beloved character to life.
Aside from being incredibly light and water-friendly, the shoes also have a fuzzy, brown-colored back strap that is inspired by the character’s outfit from the movies.
To make the shoes even more Shrek-tacular, you can decorate them with some of Crocs' Jibbitz charms that are inspired by the other characters of the movie, such as Princess Fiona, Donkey, Puss in Boots, and the Dragon.
Prices for the shoes range from $45 (P2,552) to $60 (P3,402) and are available in toddler and kids sizes.
The adult sizes are not yet available in the country, much to the dismay of Shrek fans.
"Y'alls gotta understand adults want shrocs too," one social media user said.
The Shrek film franchise centers on how the titular ogre struggles with his solitary life in the swamps because of how people are easily frightened by him. His whole world changes when he accepts a quest to rescue a princess, resulting in him finally being accepted by society, finding friends, and going on many adventures in the fairy tale world.
