Regine Velasquez-Alcasid gave Jolina Magdangal a gift she'll never forget: a pair of gorgeous Dolce&Gabbana heels in her size!
Magdangal excitedly posted about her new pumps on Instagram, gushing about how she was happy to have finally gotten her "Cinderella moment" on Mar. 15.
"Nung isang araw, pasuot na [si Regine] ng napakaganda niyang sapatos, biglang sabi niya sakin, 'Sukat mo nga Jolens,' bigla akong kinabahan, kaya dinahan-dahan ko ang pagsuot ng sapatos na parang nung sinusuot yung glass shoes ni Cinderella, at naisip ko... 'Ito na yata ang moment ko,'" she wrote about receiving the shoes.
"KUMASYA!!!! Fit na fit!!!!! At narining ko nga ang matamis na, 'Sige, sayo na,'" the TV host added.
Magdangal also talked about Velasquez's generosity, saying how she gave her friends shoes that she had. According to the actress, "Asia's Songbird" wore a size 6 as well as the usual recipients of her gifts.
To her surprise, the singer had the pair of heels in her size: a 4 1/2.
"Totoo nga ang kasabihang 'Never lose hope,'" Magdangal joked.
"To my Fairy Godmother (at Fairy Godmother ng karamihan), Ate @reginevalcasid, maraming salamat!!!! Di ako makapaniwala na may nagkasya sakin na shoes mo kaya nilagay ko sa side table ko," the actress captioned, wondering whether she was going to display the shoes in a glass box frame or wear it.
Velasquez replied to the post, saying "Ang cute mo Jolen, but you have to wear it. Masisira pag hindi eh. Love you."
Other celebrities chimed in on the singer's generosity, complimenting the beautiful heels.
"Mare super ganda 👏 kahit di naman na ako nagsusuot ng ganyan super nakakatuwa nung nakita ko sa feed ko," commented Rica Peralejo-Bonifacio.
"Sabi ko na eh, umpisa palang alam ko na kung sino. Siya lang din ang kilala kong ganyan. Very generous!" said Sherilyn Tan.
"Naku sabi ko na ehhhh!!!! Nagtanong ng size eh. Hi ate, @reginevalcasid!!!" joked Nikki Valdez.
"Naalala ko ung SOP days tayong dalawa lang ang mag ka size 😂 bongga talaga si ate Reg. Nabiyayaan niya rin ako ng shoes ❤️" added Sheena Halili.
Magdangal received a pair of Dolce&Gabbana Cinderella Swarovski Pumps from Velasquez, which is embellished with crystals and intricate designs. According to online stores, the shoes are worth $1,795 or around P94,000.
