These celebrity brides walked down the aisle in wallet-friendly wedding dresses—from P300 to P5,000!
Celebrity weddings are almost always expected to be lavish and grand—from the venue and high-profile guests to the bride’s dress.
Many celebrity brides have opted for bespoke designer gowns for their special day. While others chose to keep it simple, fuss-free, and practical.
On her wedding day, the bride has an unmistakable glow that radiates love and happiness no matter what she is wearing, just like these celebrities who did not look any less beautiful and radiant in their wedding dresses that did not break the bank.
Dionne Monsanto
Pinoy Big Brother alum Dionne Monsanto married businessman Ryan Stalder in Bern, Switzerland in March, one month after she announced her retirement from showbiz.
In the wedding photos Dionne shared of her big day, she was wearing a white number with off-shoulder fitted bodice and high/low mermaid skirt.
The actress revealed on Instagram that she only spent P300 on her wedding dress.
The bottom part of her dress was a gift from her sister, while the corset top was from an online shop she bought for P300.
“As I’ve gotten older, I realize more and more that things are just things. That I don’t need a lot to be happy. That love and respect from people I love are more important than any material possession,” she wrote in her post.
Dionne and her husband are now based in Switzerland.
Kitchie Nadal
Singer Kitchie Nadal looked effortlessly beautiful in her white, sweetheart neckline wedding dress when she and her husband, Spanish journalist Carlos Lopez, said their “I do’s” in 2015.
Kitchie’s flawless, tanned skin stood out with her gown, which she bought off-the-rack from a boutique in a mall in Makati for only P799! It was reportedly the first gown she fit and it was perfect. (Kitchie also wore the same dress for their wedding party in Cebu.)
She styled her look with a flower crown, reminiscent of those from music festivals, and a vibrant bouquet, arranged by florist Teddy Manuel.
According to a Facebook post by Kitchie’s wedding planner Chinkee Uy, the singer was the epitome of “chill” on her special day—she arrived at the venue a few hours before the wedding, wore her dress and got married. Uy also revealed that Kitchie did her own makeup before arriving at the venue.
Close friends and family, all 11 of them, witnessed the intimate ceremony held in Tagaytay.
Kitchie and Carlos, with their son Keon, are now based in Madrid, Spain.

The silk dress features an asymmetric puffed sleeve, a wrap-around tulip skirt and tie front detail. Upon checking Zoo’s website, the dress costs P3,590.

At the time, the dress reportedly retails for AUD129 (P4,700). As of this writing Sheike’s online store no longer carries the item.
