Love, Bonito announces opening date for first physical store in the Philippines

Looking forward to the opening of Love, Bonito’s first physical store in the country?

The Singaporean fashion label announced that its first Philippine branch is set to open its doors to the public on July 13. It will be located in Greenbelt 3, Makati City, offering workshops, styling sessions, and community events on top of fashion pieces.

Exclusive treats are in store for style enthusiasts from July 13 to 14, including a 15% discount voucher and free pastry for the first 50 customers, a free limited-edition everyday tote bag and custom patch for the first 300 customers with a P7,500 minimum spend, and a free Single Origin coffee or drink with every purchase.

Gold members can also enjoy early access to the store along with a free express color analysis session on July 12 for the first 50 customers.

Love, Bonito first announced the upcoming launch of its PH store in March.

In a previous interview with PhilSTAR L!fe in Singapore, co-founder Rachel Lim shared the reason they decided to bring their much-loved brand to the Philippines.

"I think it's been a long time coming," she said. "The Philippines has a very special place in our hearts, that's why we always try to go as much as we can to be with the community as well.”

“I think also, through pop-ups, we realized that 'Wow, there is really such an encouraging response from the community in the Philippines!' So, we decided we're gonna take the leap of faith to open up and to serve our customers in the Philippines," she continued.

Love, Bonito made its online store available to Filipino customers for the first time in 2019. It also had pop-up stores in various malls in the Manila in 2022, giving its Pinoy fans a glimpse of the physical Love, Bonito experience. 

Founded by Rachel Lim, Viola Tan, and Velda Tan in 2010, Love, Bonito offers a comprehensive assortment that puts the spotlight on “stylish and comfortable pieces for the modern Asian woman at home, work, and play.” Aimed at promoting women empowerment, the brand offers fashion accessories and clothes that cater to different body types and shapes, with sizes ranging from XXS to XXL.
