LOOK: Heidi Klum dresses in a peacock costume with 10 acrobats for Halloween
The "Queen of Halloween" has once again put on a stunning ensemble to celebrate the spooky occasion.
For her latest Halloween party, Heidi Klum soared high as she took inspiration from a peacock. Known for its extravagant tail feathers, the bird is no easy costume idea to pull off for the spooky holiday, but knowing Heidi, she took on the challenge and made it even better.
This year, the 50-year-old model had to enlist help from not one, but 10 acrobats to execute the getup.
Posing on the red carpet during her arrival at Marquee New York, Heidi wore a velvety cobalt blue bodysuit and an intricate headpiece with a beak built on the front, resembling the peacock's head.
For her feathers, Heidi brought with her several Cirque du Soleil acrobats who were dressed in green bodysuits with peacock eyespots and holding large fans. When stacked together in elaborate positions, it creates the illusion of one large, beautiful bird.
Despite the difficulty of the look, Heidi was still able to wear it on her own. She wore a new version of her costume, with strings on her arms for wings and an elaborate back piece for her tail feathers.
Of course, Heidi didn't forget to include her husband Tom Kaulitz in her costume, who matched the theme of her outfit as a giant egg. Tom carried this out by having his face and arms painted white and wearing a gigantic egg-colored shell.
Speaking with PEOPLE about her Halloween fashion, Heidi said, "I wanted to do a costume with many, many people. I wanted to have a bunch of people and we all become one thing. And for me, in my mind, that one thing was the peacock."
The television personality earned her title of the Queen of Halloween for her dedication to her out-of-this-world costumes, to the point that she goes through hours of prosthetics just to ensure that she executes the look to perfection.
Last year, she caught everyone's attention when she showed up to her party in a very realistic gigantic worm costume, accompanied by her husband who came as a fisherman with a bloody eye.
With the help of makeup artist Mike Marino and his team at Prosthetic Renaissance, Heidi was able to achieve her dream costume, which was made of a prosthetic shell and a special effect facepiece that molded perfectly to her face. It took the team 10 hours to make the costume.
Her other costumes in the past included Princess Fiona, a flesh-eating alien, and a wrinkly, old version of herself.
