Halloween 2026 horoscope: The 'ghosts' and 'monsters' you should avoid, according to your zodiac sign
This Halloween season, the scares may have less to do with real ghosts and more to do with your love life, finances, and unfinished business.
According to professional astrologer Monica Morales of OM.MNL, the full moon in Taurus on Oct. 26 "brings questions of security, stability, and competing priorities to the surface."
"With Pluto adding pressure, even the problems you’ve carefully tucked away may begin rattling like skeletons in the closet," she told PhilSTAR L!fe.
Venus retrograde is now back in Libra, so some relationship ghosts could make you feel their presence. "Old disagreements, questionable arrangements, and unfinished conversations could demand another look."
On Oct. 31, Mercury retrograde in Scorpio will clash with Mars in Leo. "This could make you turn ordinary disagreements into potential horror-movie material. Think twice before delivering that dramatic final speech," she advised.
"Not every disagreement needs an exorcism, and not every compromise means surrendering your soul," the astrology expert told L!fe. "Sometimes, the real monster is the argument that refuses to die. Know when to stand your ground, and when to stop feeding it."

Curious about the "ghosts" and "monsters" you should avoid this Oct. 26-Nov. 1? Check out Morales' forecast below. (Note: For a fuller look at what's ahead, it's best to read your Sun, Moon, and Rising signs altogether. Your Sun reflects your core identity and the week’s central themes, your Moon speaks to your emotional world, while your Rising sign can offer clues to where these developments may show up most visibly in everyday life.)
Aries (March 21 – April 19)
Between personal expenses, shared payments, and outstanding obligations, your wallet could become everyone’s favorite Halloween treat. Before playing generous vampire donor, check your bank balance. Some financial bites take longer to heal.
Remember that argument you thought you’d buried? Apparently, it didn’t get the memo. An old discussion about fairness or commitment could rise from the grave. Sort out what each of you actually expects before you find yourself starring in The Return of the Same Old Argument.
Taurus (April 20 – May 20)
Your relationship could start feeling like a psychological thriller, except nobody remembers agreeing to be in the cast. Work pressures and someone else's expectations may leave you wondering when your own needs disappeared from the script. Before the plot gets any more complicated, have that conversation—preferably without threatening to kill off the entire cast.
Is your house turning into The Amityville Horror? Before calling the priest, try listening to your partner. The terrifying presence in the room might just be an unresolved disagreement—and neither of you wants to admit it.
Gemini (May 21 – June 20)
Congratulations! Your unfinished work has discovered the secret to immortality. Tasks you thought you’d buried are digging themselves out of the grave, while your to-do list keeps producing sequels nobody asked for. Before accepting another assignment, finish the horrors already haunting your desk.
Just when you thought it was dead and buried, something romantic could start moving again—maybe an old interest, a familiar attraction, or a pleasure you’ve neglected. But have you seen Pet Sematary? Before resurrecting anything, make sure you’re prepared for what comes back.
Cancer (June 21 – July 22)
Your friend group might be giving The Craft this Halloween: Everyone has a plan, everyone wants your participation, and apparently the coven has a membership fee. Between invitations, commitments, and expenses, decide which gatherings are worth your time. Not every witch deserves a seat at your cauldron.
You can brew all the love potions you want, but they’re not going to settle an argument about time, money, or attention. And if the atmosphere at home is getting spooky, perhaps it’s time to revisit an old arrangement. Sometimes the magic ingredient is simply agreeing on who does what.
Leo (July 23 – Aug. 22)
Work wants your attention. Home wants your attention. At this point, even the monsters are fighting over who gets you first. Career and family responsibilities could collide, and your instinct may be to take control of the entire horror show. Careful, Leo. Trying to direct every scene could turn you into the very monster everyone’s running from.
Been having arguments with your partner? Check whether the problem is actually your tone. A disagreement could turn personal toward the weekend, especially if nobody wants to listen. Save the dramatic screaming for the horror movies.
Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sept. 22)
You’ve entered a horror mystery, and the real villain might be a missing document. Travel plans, messages, paperwork, or important information could deliver a plot twist you didn’t see coming. Before making your next move, play detective. Because in this particular Scream sequel, the most terrifying words may be: “Please resubmit your requirements.”
Not every scary story your mind invents is true. Before turning a conversation into a full psychological thriller, check your assumptions. And if you’re tempted by a suspiciously attractive purchase, remember that the scariest part might be next month’s bill.
Libra (Sept. 23 – Oct. 22)
Trick or treat? With money matters demanding attention, you’d better find out which one you’re getting. A payment, loan, or shared expense could need clarification. And if friends or loved ones are pressuring you to commit, don’t sign away your future like some unfortunate character who made a deal with the devil.
Is the love potion wearing off, or are you finally reading the ingredients? Venus retrograde in your sign could have you questioning a relationship or an arrangement you once found perfectly enchanting. Before brewing another spell, ask whether you actually want what you’ve been wishing for.
Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21)
Scorpio, even the multo may be getting tired of your relationship drama. Someone close to you could have very different ideas about family matters or shared responsibilities, and neither side may be eager to budge. Before deciding the relationship is cursed, try negotiating with the living. They’re difficult enough.
That argument you buried? Apparently, it has unfinished business and knows your address. An unresolved discussion could return, while workplace disagreements threaten to raise the dead—and your blood pressure. Don’t give every irritating comment its own horror-movie sequel. Some arguments are better left buried.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21)
Is this your work schedule or the zombie apocalypse? Unfinished tasks are multiplying, neglected responsibilities are demanding attention, and you’re one deadline away from joining the walking dead. You cannot defeat an entire zombie army with coffee and determination. Go get some sleep before somebody mistakes you for a Halloween decoration.
A friendship may need another look, but don’t let assumptions lead you astray. An argument over travel, education, or personal beliefs could have you going around in circles like you’ve encountered a monster. Before insisting you know the way, check the facts. You might be the one holding the map upside down.
Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19)
Your social circle may be throwing a Halloween party where you’re somehow the sponsor, organizer, and cleanup crew. Friends or group commitments could demand more time, money, or effort than you anticipated. Before accepting another invitation, check whether you’re a guest—or the entire catering department.
Romance may be approaching a turning point, especially if competing priorities have been haunting you both. Meanwhile, an earlier professional conversation or opportunity may deserve another look. Like a mummy emerging from its tomb, just because something is being revisited doesn’t automatically mean you should welcome it with open arms.
Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18)
Is your house haunted, or does it simply have terrible timing? Just when work demands your full attention, a family responsibility or property concern could start making noises of its own. Unfortunately, shouting “Go away, poltergeist!” won’t fix the problem. Decide which responsibility needs you most before the entire week becomes The Conjuring: The Office Edition.
Work problems could follow you home like an unwanted ghost, and your partner may not appreciate the haunting. If discussions become tense, don’t start throwing accusations around like furniture in Poltergeist. Listen, clarify expectations, and leave the paranormal activity out of your relationship.
Pisces (Feb. 19 – March 20)
Even mermaids know better than to swim into murky waters without checking what’s underneath. Travel plans, paperwork, or important conversations could contain details you may have overlooked. Before diving into another commitment, check the requirements and confirm the information. You don’t want to discover halfway through that you’ve boarded a ghost ship with no clear destination.
Some financial arrangements seem to have a curse on them. Just when you thought everything was settled, shared expenses or responsibilities may need another discussion. And if disagreements at work start brewing like a witch’s cauldron, don’t add more ingredients to the drama. Focus on breaking the spell instead of blaming each other.
