More than being physically and mentally fit, wellness is also one thing you need to keep in check.

If you’re looking for ways to learn more about dealing with life in a holistic way, food, lifestyle, and travel journalist Stephanie Zubiri has recently launched her podcast, Soulful Feasts which offers a safe space to talk about everything—from fitness to complex conversations.

“It is conversations that will nourish your body, mind, and spirit, I think the biggest learning is that there’s no body, there’s no mind, no spirit—it’s all one,” Stephanie shared to PhilSTAR L!fe during the launch of the podcast.

“You can't just do one thing; You can’t just take medicine or just exercise, you have to treat everything as a whole. If you wanna start feeling better, you really have to nourish it all,” she added.

Soulful Feasts will cover a variety of topics talking to experts, including psychologists, nutritionists, life coaches, and reiki masters.

“It’s a space where we can discuss real things without judgment, without fear [but] with a lot of kindness, gentleness, and love,” she said. “[It will have] different approach, you can pick and choose what resonates with you.”

Launching the podcast, Stephanie made sure to be as authentic as possible. She shared with L!fe that her own experiences significantly contributed to her process in doing the podcast.

“I think I spent a lot of my life trying to be on top of my field, of my game, kind of like ‘boss mentality’, but really, what was most important was to be a good person. How we can be kinder, more compassionate, more loving, gentler to everybody [and] most importantly to ourselves,” she said.

In addition to informing listeners, the podcast also aims to inspire them to take action. At the end of each episode, listeners will be challenged to consider one thing they can do to make a positive change.

“Part of this journey is honing my own intuition, tuning into our own internal wisdom, reminding myself and others that all the light we need is inside us,” she shared.

Joining her in the pilot episode is veteran broadcast journalist Karen Davila with her son, David. They talked about the journey of raising a child on the autism spectrum, including talking about the stigmas surrounding neurodiversity, dietary approaches, educational options, and practical advice for families and caregivers.

“We hope to encourage people to become proactive in addressing neurodiversity as early as possible. I feel like these podcasts are all therapy sessions for me and hopefully for our listeners! It's actually been scary but liberating to put myself out there and not have a curated or edited filter!” Stephanie said in a statement.

Co-presented by ANIMA Podcasts, Soulful Feasts will have 10 episodes with a duration of 10 to 20 minutes, new episodes will be released every Tuesday. Tune in on Spotify.
