Bea Alonzo says time is 'the ultimate truth teller' after Gerald Anderson calls their relationship 'toxic'

Is this her answer to Gerald Anderson’s explosive tell-all about his love life?

A day after Gerald (finally) admitted his relationship with Julia Barretto, actress Bea Alonzo took to social media to share about the “moments” she lives for and her musing about what time means to her.

In an Instagram post, the 33-year-old actress said she is currently enjoying her time at her farm in Zambales.

“Kanina, lumabas kami para magtampisaw sa ilog. Simple lang, pero ang saya!” she shared.

Bea added, “These are the moments I live for. The time that this pandemic allowed us to have to be able to spend time with the people we love is what I am most thankful for.”

“So here’s to time,” she said.

Then, turning cryptic, Bea said: “Time that is best spent with family, Time that heals all wounds, and TIME AS THE ULTIMATE TRUTH TELLER!”

The timing of Bea’s post is curious as it's the first since Gerald’s tell-all interview with Boy Alonzo, uploaded on the ABS-CBN Entertainment YouTube.

In the interview, Gerald said he is “very happy” with Julia, with whom he had been long-rumored to be in a relationship.

But the actor also discussed his previous relationship with Bea. The two became a couple in 2016 but broke up in 2019. The breakup became very public. After Gerald admitted that he and Bea had split, the actress said in an interview that “to my understanding, we did not break up, he just started not talking to me.”

In his Boy Abunda interview that went online this week, Gerald said: of his breakup with  “Ang pangit. Ang lala, di ba? Ang lala.”

He denied the “ghosting”—defined as the practice of ending a relationship with someone suddenly, without explanation—allegations, adding that his relationship with Bea was “toxic.”

Questioning the definition of ghosting, Gerald said: “’Yun ba ang definition or is it walking away from a very unhealthy, toxic, not saying na siya yung toxic, ako yung toxic. But being together we were very toxic, and hindi nirerespeto yung explanation na binibigay mo, hindi tinatanggap."

In any case, many are waiting if Bea will directly respond to Gerald’s latest statements about their past.

Maybe she would, maybe she wouldn’t. In any case, Bea should be busy in the coming days as it was already confirmed that her movie with Alden Richards, a remake of the Japanese TV drama Pure Love, is pushing through.
