In an Instagram post today, April 7, the celebrity yoga instructor said she recently got attended a yoga retreat in El Nido to work on healing and raising her "vibration."
"If you notice that you’re feeling down and being negative most of the time, it means that you are in a low vibrational state. This is normal," Maxene captioned her post.
Citing one of her teachers, the wellness personality said it is one's responsibility to do the work in raising their vibration when one find themselves in this state. That way, one can "consciously contribute good energy to the Universe instead of unconsciously pass on negative energy to others."
She then listed reasons one should raise their vibration.
First, she said raising your own vibration helps raise the vibration of the collective, which is why one must heal themselves so one can also help the world heal.
Next, she said to transmute negative energy into positive in order to have a clearer and lighter aura: "You will start to attract more positive experiences than negative ones. Always remember—you don’t attract what you want. You attract what you are. If you are always negative, then you will keep attracting negative energy. It’s that plain and simple," Maxene explained.
The actress-model-host also believes one will become more attractive with the right vibration.
"Believe me when I say that there is nothing more unattractive than someone whose energy is always negative. Someone who is bitter and always complaining can be very draining and exhausting," she advised.
Lastly, Maxene concluded that raising your vibration also increases your value, "You will naturally respect and love yourself more. Doing inner work requires discipline and consistency. The more you work on yourself, the more you will start respecting yourself and treating yourself as sacred."
