Neri Miranda shares life realizations, expresses gratitude as she turns 40
As she turned 40, Neri Naig-Miranda highlighted the importance of being kind and resilient in overcoming struggles, including the things that truly matter the most in life.
“Ano nga ba ang life realizations ko ngayong 40 yrs old na ako? Kailangan nating yakapin ang mga challenges sa ating buhay with kindness,” she wrote in her Instagram post on Thursday Sept. 7, while sharing a photo of herself in a brown bikini.
“Be kind, no matter how others act. Don't let bad people change your good heart.”
The former actress-turned-entrepreneur stressed that there is no need to dwell on past mistakes but to focus instead on the lessons it brought moving forward, sharing how she copes by being adaptive despite the problems.
Hindi ako nagpatalo,” she added. “Hindi madali, pero kinaya at kinakaya.”
Neri also stressed the things that truly matter the most in life, including surrounding yourself with good people and setting your personal boundaries.
“Don't confuse money with true richness. Wag maging gahaman.
"Be with good people, cherish real friends, and set boundaries."
She went on to express her gratitude to the Lord and to her family who served as her support system.
For his part, Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda penned a sweet birthday message to his wife, complimenting how good she looks for her age.
Neri owns a gourmet tuyo business and a couple of restaurants. She also has a book Wais na Misis, sharing her journey as an entrepreneur and a homemaker. In 2022, she earned her bachelor's degree in business administration.
Neri officially tied the knot with Chito in December 2014. They have three children, Pia, Miggy, and Manuel.
