Get ready for all that jazz because Chicago The Musical is returning to the Philippine stage in March 2027.

GMG Productions, in association with Barry & Fran Weissler and David Ian, announced that the Tony Award-winning musical will return to The Theatre at Solaire for a limited run from March 9 to 28, 2027.

Set in 1920s Chicago, the musical follows Roxie Hart, a housewife and nightclub dancer who finds herself on trial for the murder of her on-the-side lover. Represented by slick lawyer Billy Flynn, she turns her crime into a sensational media spectacle, competing for the spotlight with other women, including fellow inmate and nightclub star Velma Kelly.

It is based on a book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, music by John Kander, and lyrics by Ebb, the show features iconic numbers such as All That Jazz, Cell Block Tango, Razzle Dazzle, and Nowadays.

This production marks the musical's long-awaited return to Manila, over a decade after its 2014 debut.
