Sean 'Diddy' Combs’ children break silence, defend their father amid sex crimes charges
Sean "Diddy" Combs' children publicly defended their father, who is currently facing grave charges of sexual assault, sex trafficking, and racketeering.
The children took to Instagram to express their support for the music mogul as they released a statement on Oct. 22.
“The past month has devastated our family. Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories, and false narratives that have spiraled into absurdity on social media,” read the statement on Combs' eldest child Quincy Brown's Instagram.
“We stand united, supporting you every step of the way. We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family. WE MISS YOU & LOVE YOU DAD.”
Quincy Brown, 33, is the son of the late Kim Porter and music producer AI B. Sure! Combs adopted him when he started dating Porter.
Combs is a father to six other children, namely Justin, Christian, Chance, Jessie, D’Lila, and Love Sean—from relationships with four different women
Earlier in October, the disgraced rapper's mother called out the "public lynching" of him.
Since his arrest, Combs has faced multiple new lawsuits from alleged victims, including molesting a minor. On Oct. 14, at least six lawsuits were filed against him in federal court in Manhattan. These suits were filed anonymously, including two from women known as Jane Does and four from men referred to as John Does.
Combs is currently being held in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York after being denied bail. He is expected to remain in custody until his trial on charges of racketeering and sex trafficking, which is set to begin in May.
