Miss International 2025 announces coronation date

Mark your calendars, pageant fans! This year’s Miss International coronation night is set for November.

The pageant organization announced on its social media pages that coronation ceremonies will be held on Nov. 27 in Tokyo, Japan. 

“More than 70 elite [accomplished] young women from all over the world will converge in this two-week event filled with educational and cultural activities, and one of them will be crowned as the new Miss International at the end of the final gala,” Miss International said.

The next winner will succeed Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy, who made history in the past year by earning the first Miss International crown for Vietnam.  

The Philippines’ Myrna Esguerra vies for the country’s seventh Miss International crown, following the victories of Gemma Cruz-Araneta (1964), Aurora Pijuan (1970), Melanie Marquez (1979), Lara Quigaman (2005), Bea Santiago (2013), and Kylie Verzosa (2016). 

The 74th edition of Miss Universe will also hold its pageant in November in Thailand.
