Miss Universe Philippines 2025 announces coronation date, venue

This year's Miss Universe Philippines coronation night is set for May.

On its social media pages, the local pageant organization announced the official date and venue for the finals night.

"The much-awaited Miss Universe Philippines 2025 Coronation is happening this May 2, 2025, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena," it captioned its post. The program will begin at 6 p.m.

More details about the ticket prices and sales have yet to be announced.

This year, 69 delegates across the Philippines will vie for the coveted crown. Among the familiar faces from the list are pageant veterans Miss Earth-Air 2023 Yllana Marie Aduana (Siniloan, Laguna), Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 Teresita Ssen "Winwyn" Marquez (Muntinlupa City), Miss Universe Philippines 2024 Second Runner up and Miss International 2018 First Runner up Ahtisa Manalo (Quezon, Province), Miss Globe 2022 semi-finalist Chelsea Fernandez (Sultan Kudarat), and Reina Hispanoamericana 2019 Fifth Runner up Katrina Llegado (Taguig City), among others. 

This year's edition will also have Ariella Arida as the new national director.

The next winner will succeed Chelsea Manalo of Bulacan and will then represent the Philippines at the 74th Miss Universe pageant to be held in Thailand on Nov. 21.
