Calling all Pinoy pageant fans! CJ Opiaza, the country's representative for Miss Grand International, needs our support to clinch the Best in Swimsuit award in the pageant.

In an Instagram post, the local pageant organizers encouraged our kababayans to vote for Opiaza to secure her spot in the Top 20 contenders for the coveted award.

Ten finalists will be selected via public votes, while the judges will choose the other half.

How to vote?

To help Opiaza land a spot, you can like (10 points) and share (5 points) her photo on the Facebook account of the Miss Grand International.

You can also like our country's representative photo on the pageant's IG account, which is also equivalent to 10 points.

Take note: only votes from followers will be counted.

The international pageant also reminds fans to "follow the rules by the Miss Grand International account and refrain from purchasing likes or shares."

Voting will end on Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 4 p.m.

Opiaza was crowned Miss Grand International Philippines on Sunday, Sept. 29, at Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City, succeeding Nikki de Moura.

The coronation night for Miss Grand International will be held in Thailand on Oct. 25

Opiaza is aiming for the country's first-ever crown following its highest placements in the international pageant: Nicole Cordoves in 2016 and Samantha Bernardo in 2020.
