LTO's new online platform gives users a faster way to report road violations and LTO lapses

The Land Transportation Office has officially launched an online feedback platform that has a direct link to the LTO chief.

During his "Kwentuhan with LTO Chief" session on April 27, LTO chief ASec. Markus V. Lacanilao announced the agency's new platform, "I-report mo kay LTO Chief," which allows citizens to share complaints and feedback directly with him.

"Isang tugon namin ito sa mga kailangan ng report sa atin sa LTO; unang-una, 'yung mga nangyayari sa kalye, tsaka 'yung kung meron mang mga pasaway na empleyado ng LTO... hindi kami nagto-tolerate ng mga tao namin," Lacanilao said.

He added that the platform is designed so that the complaints and feedback sent by users will go directly to him.

Users may report road rage and reckless driving incidents, suspected activities of corruption and misconduct committed by any LTO personnel or official, and detection of unregistered or colorum vehicles. Aside from complaints, users may also submit commendations and suggestions for improvement.

The website also serves as a dashboard of data reflecting information such as the number of driver licenses suspended and revoked, as well as the total number of issued legal notices, such as subpoenas and show-cause orders.

"I-report mo kay LTO Chief" is available on Messenger (@ireportmokayltochief), via its website (www.ireportmokayltochief.ph), and its 24/7 hotline (1342-586).

On the website, the following steps will allow you to submit a complaint or send feedback.

  1. Click the "Report" button on the upper right-hand corner.
  2. Enter your personal details, including your full name, email address, and cellphone number. The platform is supposedly designed to accept anonymous reports. Without identifying information, however, "validation, appropriate action, or the provision of updates" would be limited.
  3. Select the type of complaint.
  4. Narrate the incident or describe the complaint.
  5. To speed up resolution, you may attach photos or videos as evidence.
  6. Check the platform's privacy policy, then if you agree, tick the corresponding box.
  7. Click "Submit".

Your submission will be logged, reviewed, and, when appropriate, sent to the concerned LTO office for further action. Any actionable complaint will go through due process and the LTO's applicable procedures.
