TikTok star Bella Thomson, also known as Bella Brave, has passed away. She was 10 years old.

Her mother, Kyla Thomson, shared a video of Bella dancing as she confirmed the latter's death on social media. "Our brave girl left her legacy here on earth to dance on streets of gold July 14th 2024 at 4:19 p.m. ET Bella passed peacefully in our arms," she wrote in the caption.

Kyla also asked Bella's followers to remember the TikTok star after her passing.

"Please keep her name on your lips, her memories alive and her bravery in your hearts. Please share with us every detail of how she touched your life or kept you brave. Bella would want you to remember; God is love, be brave and you are never too old to bring a stuffy," she added.

Bella's death came days after she was intubated in the intensive care unit and was put under a medically induced coma last July 10.

"The best of the best were telling us it looked really bad. But I kept a lifted stare, intensely listening until I heard what hope there was left, that we could hang on to," Kyla wrote in an Instagram post on July 11, sharing photos of a bracelet that spells "Isabella," Bella's arm, as well as her stuffed toys and letters from her supporters.

Bella was under a large dose of steroids at the time as it was the "only option" left to help her lungs work again, according to Kyla.

In a post on July 8, her mother shared that the 10-year-old had a viral infection in her lungs and may have developed Bronchiolitis Obliterans or "popcorn lung," which the American Lung Association describes as an "irreversible and chronic condition" whose symptoms include shortness of breath, dry cough, and sometimes wheezing.

Bella rose to fame when her family started chronicling her medical journey on TikTok, where she has over seven million followers.
