'The Hunger Games' actor Ethan Jamieson arrested for assault with intent to kill

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire actor Ethan Jamieson was arrested on April 8 in North Carolina for allegedly shooting at three men with a handgun, according to PEOPLE

Based on reports from the Raleigh Police Department, the incident took place on March 22, when officers were notified of shots fired a few minutes before 10 p.m. Upon arrival, police learned "that an unknown suspect riding an e-bike had fired a shot at [the victims'] vehicle while they were driving." 

Three people were in the car when they were shot at. It was unclear whether anyone was injured during the incident.

Following an investigation, police identified Jamieson, 27, as the suspect "who discharged a single gunshot in the direction of the victims' vehicle," per the report. 

Jamieson was arrested on three counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, according to court documents. He allegedly used a 9mm semi-automatic handgun. 

The day after his arrest, the actor was denied bail. He is set to appear in court for his disposition hearing on April 30. 

He was previously arrested in March 2025 in Raleigh for "resisting a public officer," per PEOPLE. Jamieson was sentenced for his first crime on March 26 this year, days after he committed his second crime.

Prior to his big screen role, Jamieson appeared on an episode of TV series One Tree Hill. His last acting project was in an episode of TV series Justified in 2013.
