Beep stored value updaters, renewal devices are being removed. Here are stations where they're still available

Beep has previously announced that all stored value updaters (SVU) and express renewal devices (ERD) are being removed at train stations, as they still use outdated 3G technology.

In a Jan. 24 advisory after the announcement, Beep explained the machines to answer concerns of cardholders.

The company also noted that commuters can still load and check the balance of their beep cards at ticket vending machines, physical counters, and the beep app.

Amid the removal of SVUs and ERDs, Beep said that some machines will still be running at select stations. Read on below to see where you can use SVUs and ERDs.
