Get a chance to ‘experience’ Squid Game in real life with PLDT Home

Ever watched Squid Game and thought you could do better in the challenges?

Here’s your chance to test your skills in adrenaline-pumping games—minus the real danger, of course—with loads of fun and a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

PLDT Home, in collaboration with Netflix, is taking five lucky winners and their plus ones to Squid Game: The Experience in Seoul, South Korea, a fully immersive adventure based on the hit Netflix thriller-drama, where participants get to play games inspired by the show.

Who can join

The promo runs from April 1 to May 15, 2025, and is open to all new subscribers of PLDT Home Fiber Netflix plans 1599, 2499, and 3199. Each new subscriber during the promo period will receive one raffle entry for a chance to win free access to Squid Game: The Experience in Seoul.

Five winners will be selected, each winning free round-trip airfare for two to South Korea, a three-day/two-night hotel accommodation in Seoul, two tickets to Squid Game: The Experience, and a travel allowance.

The winners will be chosen via electronic raffle and will be announced through PLDT Home’s social media platforms on May 16, 2025. The travel period is from June 23-25, 2025.

The Squid Game adventure continues even after The Experience, as Netflix drops the much-anticipated final season of the show on June 27.

What is Squid Game: The experience?

Located in eastern Seoul's Seongsu-dong district, Squid Game: The Experience is a high-tech, immersive attraction based on the global hit series Squid Game.

Visitors get to explore recreations of the sets, games, and themed environments in a safe, non-lethal setting—all designed with intricate, familiar details that put you right into the show.

Squid Game: The Experience is divided into three zones: the Game Zone, the Retail Zone, and the Night Market.

Game Zone

Put your strategy and mental toughness to the test through six challenges inspired by the series. Compete against others for a shot at becoming the last player standing and earn exclusive VIP privileges.

Challenges include the heart-pumping Red Light, Green Light game, which first introduced viewers to the rules of the game and the eerie Young-hee doll; the Glass Bridge, arguably the most nerve-wracking game on the show; the Dalgona challenge, where you cut out different shapes without breaking the cookie; and the Marble game, where you must outwit your opponent.

No one gets killed when you lose, but you can have fun recreating your “death” upon losing the challenge. 

Retail Zone

Following the challenges, celebrate your win at the Retail Zone, with Squid Game merchandise readily available for sale. Want to be a Pink Guard? The infamous pink hooded jumpsuits and masks, player T-shirts, and Young-hee doll merch are up for grabs for you to take back home.

Night Market

Cap your time at Squid Game: The Experience with soju-infused cocktails at the Night Market. The Squid Game-themed market offers authentic Korean food, game-inspired cocktails, exclusive merchandise, and mini games to wrap up your adventure.
