LIST: Malls offering free overnight parking, charging stations due to Karding PH

Major malls are offering a helping hand to those who might be affected by Super Typhoon Karding.

As various areas of Luzon are being evacuated in anticipation of the super typhoon, different establishments are making their spaces available for temporary shelter. Some are also providing other forms of assistance to Filipinos, including free Internet connection and charging stations.

Here's a list of malls that you can run to in case you might need them.

Megaworld Lifestyle Malls

Megaworld Lifestyle Malls—including Uptown Bonifacio, Eastwood City, Venice Grand Canal, Lucky Chinatown, and Southwoods Mall—are offering free overnight parking for Sept. 25, charging stations, as well as their lounges and restrooms for those who might be affected by extreme weather and flooding.

SM Malls

Various SM Mall branches are also lending a hand to those who are seeking temporary shelter from the heavy rains. They are offering free overnight parking, free WiFi, and charging stations for your gadgets. Aside from SM North Edsa, other SM Malls providing assistance are in Marikina, Lipa, Cabanatuan, Fairview, Clark, Sta. Mesa, Southmall, Taytay, Grand Central, Angono, Baliwag, Bicutan, Las Pinas, Novaliches, San Mateo, and more.

Vista Mall Las Piñas

"Your safety is our utmost priority. Our mall may serve as shelter for stranded customers and commuters affected by Super Typhoon Karding," the establishment announced in a Facebook post.

Robinsons Land
Select Robinsons Malls also offered temporary shelter on Sunday, Sept. 25 with waived overnight parking fees, free WiFi connection, and free charging stations. Branches included Robinsons Galleria, Robinsons Magnolia, Robinsons Manila and more.
Ayala Malls

Ayala Malls (Fairview Terraces) also announced Sunday that it will keep designated areas and restrooms open beyond regular mall hours for those who will wait out the storm. Overnight parking fees were waived for September 25.

Evia Lifestyle Center

Evia Lifestyle Center is opening its doors to stranded customers and commuters in light of the super typhoon. Its branches are providing free overnight parking, free use of restrooms, power outlets for charging, and free WiFi access.
