Various Filipino LGBTQIA+ individuals express inclusivity and diversity each year through joyful events, celebrations, and mass protests aiming to create a space that uplifts the community.
So, if you're seeking vibrant ways to celebrate Pride Month this year, bookmark this page, as some organizations and groups are resuming events that every member of the LGBTQ+ community and allies shouldn't miss this June.
Pride Night (June 1)
LoveYourself Inc. will hold Pride Night 2024 on June 1 at Bridgetowne Open Grounds, Pasig City, from 5 p.m. onwards.
The free event aims to create a safe space for the community to express themselves and take pride in their identities.
It will feature various queer icons such as newly crowned Miss International Queen PH 2024 Sophia Arkanghel, Mr. Gay World 2024 candidates, and local drag superstars such as Maxie, Viñas Deluxe, Bernie, Arizona Brandy, and Drag Race Philippines season 1 winner Precious Paula Nicole, among others.
#PrideAndPower4: Same Love, Same Care, Same Right (June 14)
Pop culture podcast Pop Emergency brought this year's #PrideAndPower4: Same Love, Same Care, Same Right to Matrix Creation Events in Quezon City on June 14.
The event will feature pop music performances, drag queens, stand-up comedians, and amazing queer performances.
Interested participants can register here. The registration fee for early birds ranges from P800 to P7000.
#DearSurvivor (June 14)
Want an intimate pride event? This one is for you!
Lunas Collective, a volunteer-powered chat helpline and survivor-centered care space based in the Philippines will celebrate pride through #DearSurvivor on Saturday, June 15, at We Are Shapeshifters Movement + Gatherings Studio in Manila.
The event will cater to private sharing circles for participants to share their journey of survival and healing from violence, discrimination, and abuse.
More than that, they will uplift "power and pleasure" with a Vogue Jam led by Mother Xyza Ragunjan and the Philippine Ballroom Community.

PridePH Festival 2024 (June 22)
In June 2023, the "Love, Laban" Pride Festival, organized by Pride PH, bagged "biggest Pride event in Southeast Asia" with a crowd estimate of 110,000.
This year, the organization is attempting another historic record as they will launch the annual pride event on Saturday, June 22, at Quezon Memorial Circle.
The celebration is free and features an all-day event that includes Pride Night, Pride March, and Pride Expo starting at 10 a.m., 2 p.m., and 5 p.m., respectively.
Expect numerous star-studded performances from names like JK Labajo, Sexbomb Girls with Wally and Allan K, Silent Sanctuary, and Vxon, among others.
Famous LGBTQIA+ personalities and allies will also attend the event, including Michelle Dee, Megan Young, Macoy Dubs, Marina Summers, Ice Seguerra, Ian Pangilinan, Andrea Brillantes, and many more.
Pride Virtual Run 2024 (June 22-29)
Another pride event will take place from June 22 to June 29, but this time, it involves physical activities like exercise and running.
What makes this event unique is that participants will use GPS-tracking apps, a smartwatch, or a treadmill to record their route and time. According to the organization, the virtual runs allow flexibility, enabling participation at any time during the designated period.
The deadline for submission of results is June 29. Participants must submit the information on the event website, such as:
- Screenshot of the route.
- Photo of your dashboard.
- Photo of the display on their fitness watch.
Interested participants can register here. The registration fee ranges from P1200 (3K Category) to P1600 (10K Category).
Graduation Rights: March with Pride in QC (June 22)
March with pride, loud and proud!
This was the goal of the Quezon City Government as they will hold special graduation rites dubbed "Graduation Rights: March with Pride in QC" for LGBTQIA+ community members in the city who have been denied to march in their gender-affirming attire.
The event is slated to happen on Saturday, June 22, with the following requirements:
- Participants should be part of the LGBTQIA+ community, ages 18 and above.
- A Quezon City resident or those who graduated from schools located in the city
- LGBTQIA+ community member who were not able to march for their senior high school or college graduation ceremonies because of their sexual orientation, gender identity, and expression (SOGIE).
Registration for the program started on Wednesday, May 29, and will close on Friday, June 7.
Komiket Pride
Want to celebrate queer art? Komiket Pride is happening for the second year on June 7 to 9 and 14 to 16 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Ayala Malls The 30th.
Here, you can check out over 200 LGBTQ+ artists and creators and their stickers, comics, prints, merch, and more.
Entrance to Komiket Pride is free, and you can check it out at the second-floor activity area and third-floor of the cinema lobby of the Pasig mall.
