New partnership brings fans and artists together through meet-and-greets, live performances, and more
For fans, navigating the constant stream of information on social media can be overwhelming as they try to connect with their idols. But now, JuanCast, the platform that empowers Filipino fans, has partnered with The Philippine STAR to create unforgettable experiences. This collaboration will unlock exclusive content, unique opportunities, and behind-the-scenes access, bringing fans closer to the artists they love.
JuanCast is a platform that allows users to vote in various polls and contests across a wide range of categories. Its founder, Junnel Gabriel Oreta, highlighted that the team-up can serve as a way for fans to "feel a sense of ownership, a way to contribute to their idols’ success and be part of their journey."
"JuanCast is for everyone — Filipino fans, non-Filipino fans, and even emerging artists or groups looking for recognition," he said.
According to him, JuanCast can provide a "safe space" for fans who might be shy to show their support publicly, allowing them to "freely share their love, express their passion, and support their idols without fear."
Lucien Dy Tioco, executive vice president at the STAR, shared that the partnership can help the newspaper's entertainment content by celebrating rising influencers, entrepreneurs, and artists that "a lot of our young followers resonate with."
JuanCast functions by having users earn "Stars" and "Suns" by watching ads, completing tasks, or purchasing them directly. These can then be used to vote in chosen categories, with Stars for smaller polls while Suns are for larger events.
Winners will then receive recognition and rewards, including potential features in the STAR.
Apart from this, the team-up will also bring exclusive promotions and offers, meet-and-greets, live performances, and one-on-one interactions by fans with their favorite artists.
You can also expect a new live-streaming feature that will allow for real-time interaction between fans and artists, as well as a major poll event called "StarCast Exclusive" that will provide a "grand stage" for celebrating artists' talent and fan passion.
"This is just the beginning. With The Philippine STAR as our partner, the possibilities are endless. Together, we will continue to grow JuanCast, ensuring it remains a platform that every Juan can enjoy," Oreta underscored.
