Savannah Guthrie visited the set of the Today show for the first time since her mother was reported missing.

Guthrie dropped by the show's NBC studio on Thursday, Mar. 5, and told her colleagues she's hoping to return soon.

"I wanted you to know that I'm still standing, and I still have hope, and I'm still me," Guthrie said, according to Today. "And I don't know what version of me that will be, but it will be."

"I have every intention of coming back. I don't know how to come back, but I don't know how not to. You're my family. And I would like to try," she added.

Guthrie also hugged staff and crew and thanked them for "caring about my mom as much as I do."

While Guthrie is optimistic about her television comeback, NBC News said in a statement that there is no particular date yet for her return.

"While she plans to return to the show on air, she remains focused right now supporting her family and working to help bring Nancy home," the network said.

International media reported that Guthrie's 84-year-old mother, Nancy, was last seen in her home in Tucson on Jan. 31.

Authorities pointed to an unidentified masked man caught on camera at the elderly woman's front door as the suspect. Per reports, he remains in the custody of Arizona authorities.

Nancy's whereabouts are still unknown. Authorities still don't know the motive for the kidnapping.

On Feb. 25, Guthrie offered a $1 million (P57 million) reward for information about her missing mother.
