LOOK: Spice Girls' 30th anniversary to be celebrated with commemorative stamps
We'll tell you what we want, what we really, really want: a set of these Spice Girls commemorative stamps!
Royal Mail just released a dedicated stamp issue to mark the 30th anniversary of the UK's "biggest-ever girl group."
The Spice Girls are the first female pop group and the sixth music group to be featured in a stamp by the British postal service and courier company. In the past, Royal Mail has dedicated stamps for The Beatles in 2007, Pink Floyd in 2016, Queen in 2020, The Rolling Stones in 2022, and Iron Maiden in 2023.
Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell-Horner, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm, and Melanie Brown's most iconic performances are featured on the stamps, including their Istanbul concert in 1997, a still from their 2 Become 1 music video, and the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics.
A pack of 15 stamps is priced at £19.65 (P1,386), which includes an information sheet about the Spice Girls' journey.
Collectors can also score the Spice Girls Platinum Miniature Sheet with unique, platinum-layered stamps for £199 (P14,045). Only 1,000 of these are available.
Other items from the collection include envelopes, postcards, framed stamps, and other limited-edition sets and books.
All items will be available on January 11.
