Dilbert cartoonist Scott Adams revealed that he also has the same aggressive prostate cancer as former US president Joe Biden.

On the Monday episode of his daily podcast, Real Coffee With Scott Adams, the right-wing social media commentator said that he has Stage 4 cancer as he discussed Biden's cancer diagnosis.

"Today is the day I’ve decided that I’m going to take the opportunity ... to make an announcement of my own. Some of you have already guessed, so this won’t surprise you at all, but I have the same cancer Joe Biden has," he said.

"I also have prostate cancer that has also spread to my bones, but I’ve had it longer than he’s had it. Well, longer than he’s admitted having it," Adams continued.

The 67-year-old American author and cartoonist went on, stating that he is dealing with terrible pain due to his cancer.

"I'm in pain. The pain moves around to different parts of my body," he said, adding that he's been using a walker for months now.

Adams also shared that he has had time to come to terms with his diagnosis, allowing him "to say his goodbyes, organize his matters, and take care of everything he needed to.

Biden's diagnosis

Biden released a statement on Friday about his prostate cancer diagnosis, which is characterized by a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone.

"Cancer touches us all. Like so many of you, Jill and I have learned that we are strongest in the broken places. Thank you for lifting us up with love and support," he wrote in the caption alongside the sweet photo with his wife.

As per the statement, the cancer that Biden has appears "to be hormone-sensitive, which allows for effective management," hence, his family is now "reviewing treatment options" with the former president's physicians.

Dilbert, known for its satirical office humor, was first published in 1989. Several publications stopped running the comic in 2023 due to racist comments made by Adams.
