From an award-winning idol to a versatile actress, Jisoo is now a CEO!

BLACKPINK's Jisoo added another feather to her cap as she launched her own talent agency joining her bandmates, Jennie's OA and Lisa's LLOUD.

The K-pop superstar said on her social media pages that the label aims to spread happiness just like how Jisoo created it in her own unique way.

"Transcending the boundaries of genres and fields, our mission is to share the happiness that JISOO creates in her own unique way," the caption read.

Likewise, the Flower singer wrote a message for her fans embedded in the announcement, emphasizing the idol's commitment to fostering creativity and promoting happiness.

"Hello, this is JISOO. I'm excited to share my new start with BLISSOO. Stay tuned for what's to come, as I'm dedicated to bringing joy and happiness to each and every one of you," she wrote.

Jisoo continued, "Please continue to shower your love and support for JISOO with BLISSOO and also for BLACKPINK. Thank you."

According to its official website, BLISSOO "houses the alluring artist Jisoo in a special place like a gift box containing Jisoo's absolute happiness" while giving "happiness and joy to her fans with diverse appearances and endless charms."

"Now established as an icon, JISOO continues to broaden her influence into the realms of fashion, beauty, and beyond," the description reads.

In December 2023, YG Entertainment announced that all BLACKPINK members, Rosé, Jennie, Lisa, and Jisoo, have renewed their exclusive contracts for group activities only.

In the same month, Jennie established her own label dubbed Odd Atelier (OA), while earlier in February, Lisa launched her own talent agency called LLOUD.

Jisoo began her soloist career with the launch of her first solo album, ME, on March 31 last year. She was the fourth and last BLACKPINK member to make her solo debut following Lisa's LALISA and Rosé's R in 2021, as well as Jennie's Solo in 2018.

In January this year, the 29-year-old Korean idol-turned-actress joined the upcoming Korean film Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint, top-billed by other South Korean superstars, including Lee Min Ho, Ahn Hyo Seop, Chae Soo Bin, Shin Seung Ho, Nana, Park Ho San, and Choi Young Joon.

This marks Jisoo's second acting project after the 2021 historical tragedy drama Snowdrop with Jung Hae-in.
