BINI's Sunday concert to be moved to Nov. 19 due to Typhoon Pepito

Published Nov 15, 2024 8:58 pm

BINI's sold-out "Grand BINIverse" concert on Nov. 17 is postponed to another date in anticipation of typhoon Pepito.

According to Star Music, the Sunday show will be moved to Tuesday “to ensure everyone’s safety.”

All tickets purchased for the Nov. 17 show, including iWantTFC passes, will be honored on Nov. 19 at the Araneta Coliseum.

Those unable to attend the rescheduled show may contact Ticketnet for a refund.

The scheduled concerts for Nov. 16 and 18 will push through.

The statement noted that "part of the proceeds from the Grand BINIverse concert will be donated to the ABS-CBN Foundation to help those affected by the typhoon."

This comes after the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration's (PAGASA) 5 p.m. weather bulletin on Friday indicated that Typhoon Pepito is most likely to make landfall in Catanduanes between Saturday night and early Sunday morning.

It said that typhoon Pepito was 465 km east of Guiuan, Eastern Samar, packing maximum sustained winds of 150 kph and gusts of up to 185 kph, moving west-northwest at 30 kph.

BINI's sold-out three-day concert will be held at 7 p.m. at the Araneta Coliseum. It will include a star-studded lineup of guest performers including Regine Velasquez, Vice Ganda, Gary Valenciano, and Maymay Entrata.

Several Pinay drag queens will also take the stage, including Precious Paula Nicole, Viñas DeLuxe, Eva Le Queen, Hana Beshie, Popstar Bench, Miss Jade So, Maxie Anderson, and Angel Galang.

Filipino dance crew TPM, hailed champions at the Super 24 dance competition, is also set to entertain Blooms on those days.
