Silka returns the alaga to mothers: Alagang Tunay, Para Sayo Nanay Year 2

Published Mar 28, 2025 5:30 pm

Silka has remained committed to providing the best alaga to every Filipino household, especially to mothers and daughters. For over 20 years, Silka’s mission has been to empower Filipinas, boost their confidence, and help them embrace their natural beauty by giving them healthier skin.

In celebration of International Women’s Month, Silka continued its advocacy for mothers with the second year of its "Alagang Tunay Para Sa ’yo, Nanay" program, held on March 17.

Silka’s "Alagang Tunay Para Sa ’yo, Nanay" is more than just a program—it’s a heartfelt advocacy dedicated to empowering women on their journey through motherhood. Silka encourages every mother to prioritize her health and well-being. Self-care is essential, as one cannot give what they do not have.

“This International Women’s Month, nais ng Silka na kilalanin ang sakripisyo ng bawat nanay at mga magiging nanay pa lamang, para sa inyong mga anak at pamilya,” shared Hazelen Magboo, Silka’s senior brand specialist.

Silka once again extended its signature gift of alaga to 400 pregnant women and new mothers at Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital. Widely recognized for providing safe, compassionate, and excellent care to newborns and mothers, the hospital served as the venue for this meaningful initiative. Silka distributed Alagang Silka Mommy Kits to the mothers, which are filled with skincare products, hygiene essentials, and other items from CAC brands, all designed to provide comfort and care.

“As we give you these Alagang Silka Mommy Kits, we hope mabigay nito sa inyo ang alaga that you deserve. At sana maging dahilan ito upang ma-inspire kayong alagaan ‘di lang ang inyong pamilya kundi pati na rin ang inyong sarili,” said Keen Patani, senior brand specialist, emphasizing the brand’s genuine care and support.

Silka’s commitment to empowering women extends beyond this event. As part of its advocacy, Silka continues to launch initiatives and partnerships supporting women’s health, well-being, and self-confidence.
