Many K-pop fans dream of visiting the beautiful country of Korea and seeing their biases in person. Now, with this new challenge, you may finally have the chance to fulfill your fantasy. And even better, you could get to perform with your idols on stage!

The K-Community Festival, a festival that highlights Korean traditional culture, has opened registration for its so-called K-Community Challenge where fans can win a chance to not only have a trip to South Korea for a total of seven days, but also perform with K-pop groups such as iKON, KARD, and LIMELIGHT.

According to its website, the K-Community Challenge is a video challenge that can help you "learn Korean culture online" by creating your own performance video through any of three different genres.

To be eligible for the big prize, you and your team must first subscribe to the official YouTube channel of the K-Community Festival before choosing which genre you want to participate in: Taekwonmu, Korean modern percussion, and Joseon Pop.

In case you're not familiar with them, taekwonmu is a performing art created by combining the poomsae and dance of Taekwondo—Korea's unique martial art.

Korean modern percussion, on the other hand, combines modern performance styles with traditional Korean percussion rhythms, while Chosun Pop is a new genre of music that crosses over with popular music, rooted in traditional Korean music, gugak.

After you've chosen your style, watch the instructional and guide videos on its YouTube channel and create your own video carrying out the performance art.

Once you're done filming, upload the video on your own YouTube channel with the title "[K-Community Challenge] Genre_Country_Team Name" as well as the required hashtags: #KCF, #kcommunity_challenge, #kcommunity_festival, #Its_Ktraditional_time, #KOFICE, and #KOCIS.

The number of views counts for judging, so share the links away to your friends and loved ones!

There will be four prizes depending on whether the team wins Gold, Silver, Bronze, or a special award.

The Gold winners will be invited to Seoul, South Korea to attend the K-Community Festival stage performance this Nov. 4 at the National Theater of Korea. Their prize also includes flight, lodging, a tour, a Hanbok or Taekwondo uniform (one for each team member), and signed CDs by K-pop artists (one per member of each team).

The challenge will be open until Sept. 10 this year, with the announcement of the winners in October. The invitation period for the winning team is from Oct. 30 to Nov. 6.

Hwaiting!
