Makati bar The Spirits Library makes list of Asia's Best Bars 2026
The Spirits Library in Makati made the list of Asia's Best Bars for 2026.
On July 14, the annual list revealed its partial ranking of leading bars across the continent. The top 50 will be announced at a live awards ceremony in Macau on July 28.
One bar from the Philippines, The Spirits Library, was part of the 51st to 100th ranking, placing 98th. The Makati destination is a new entry to Asia's Best Bars list.
The ranking lauded The Spirits Library for its extensive catalog of vintage bottles and chic interiors "that evoke the atmosphere of a classy old gentlemen's club."
"Expect charming antiques, fine glassware and a seriously good sip of something older than yourself," the entry read.
The Spirits Library expressed its gratitude on Instagram following the distinction.
They thanked their team "for every late night, every detail, every glass poured with intention. You are the heart of this bar and this recognition belongs to you as much as anyone."
"To our guests for coming back, for trusting us with your drinks, and for making this room what it is every single night. Without you, there is no story to tell," it added. "Thank you for allowing us to do what we love, night after night."
The 51-100 list includes 11 new entries. Singapore had the most bars in the extended ranking with seven, followed by Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo, and Seoul with four each.
