Starbucks teases collaboration with BLACKPINK
Calling all BLINKS! Starbucks teased that they will be collaborating once again with BLACKPINK for their upcoming merchandise!
In a teaser posted on the Instagram account of Starbucks Korea, the video shows a silhouette of the coffeehouse's cup bathed in the signature colors of the South Korean girl group—composed of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa—before the words "BLACKPINK IN YOUR AREA" are shown.
While Starbucks' official accounts have yet to reveal details about the collaboration, Korean outlet Maeil Business Daily carried by allkpop reported that the merchandise will feature a range of items such as tumblers, keyrings, pouches, and more that are all designed with BLACKPINK's symbolic colors and logo.
However, the collection will only be made available in South Korea, so international fans may need to get creative on how they can secure the limited-edition products.
This is the second time that Starbucks and BLACKPINK have collaborated, with their first team-up in 2021 resulting in a collection of drinks, tumblers, keychains, pouches, badges, and eco bags in Thailand.
Titled "Spark in You," the products featured hearts on a dreamy starry background, with BLACKPINK’s iconic black and pink contrasting colors and sparkling star prints.
Aside from BLACKPINK, Starbucks previously partnered with BTS, another K-pop powerhouse, back in 2020.
