Celebrate life, love, and luck at Uptown Bonifacio this Valentine’s Day  

Immerse yourself in hearts and flowers as Uptown Bonifacio celebrates Valentine’s Day with an eye-catching installation by sought-after events stylist Gideon Hermosa.  

The 18-foot installation, with its fabric roses and giant heart-shaped platform reminiscent of bonbon boxes, sets the mood for love at the mall. It is the perfect spot for photo opportunities such as couple selfies, groufies, and even for kids and furbabies who are attracted to the bright, colorful display. 

In keeping with the sustainability initiatives of Megaworld Corporation, Uptown Bonifacio’s Tree of Life installation, also by Gideon, was transformed in time for V-Day. “We removed the ang pao and other New Year elements and added the Valentine’s decorations.” 

He shares that the current trend in weddings is monochromatic. For this installation, he used red as the primary color for the whole design, from the tree trunk to the cascading flowers, the platform, and the hanging honeycomb hearts. “We designed it to be an immersive installation wherein everyone can enjoy and take photos with something dreamy and enchanted.” 

Love for all 

Uptown Bonifacio’s Valentine’s theme is “Love & Luck,” and there are loads of activities available for couples, families, friend groups, and even those flying high on self-love.  

Camille Elvina, Uptown Bonifacio General Manager, says there will be live performances of love songs by the young musicians of Quartet Manila at the Atrium on Valentine’s Day, along with long-stemmed roses that will be given randomly and for free throughout the day. “It’s not just for couples, but also moms, lolas, and kids so that everyone can feel the love,” she says.  

There are also interactive stations alongside the Valentine’s Day installation, where couples can answer a quiz to determine their love language. “This can help them discover more about each other,” she adds. 

Elvina also shares why Uptown Bonifacio is the perfect place to spend time with loved ones on the day of hearts. “We have many casual dining restaurants they can choose from, from popular establishments to new cuisine discoveries. From cafés for a light coffee date to romantic meals, and even bars and clubbing options for group dates, we have that here. Aside from Gideon’s installation, we also have our popular veranda fountain for more photo opportunities.” 

Another attraction that couples, families, and friend groups can enjoy is the Uptown Tempur cinema, the only premium bed cinema in the country. Across the street is the newly opened Tesla showroom, another Uptown first, where they can check the specs of the fun and eco-friendly cars.  

For those spending Valentine’s Day focused on self-care, Uptown Bonifacio offers pampering opportunities, such as a spa, beauty services, and, of course, many shops designed for retail therapy.  

Furparents can also enjoy a fun day out with their pets, as the mall is pet-friendly. Restaurants allow pets inside their establishments, and there is even a pet drop-off at Dogs in the City if they want to catch a movie.
