Philippine Airlines to launch Da Nang flights starting July 1
Philippine Airlines is set to begin operating flights between Manila and Da Nang, Vietnam, from July 1 onwards.
“PAL is committed to offering greater connectivity and promoting tourism and commerce between our capital city and the central Vietnamese heartland,” said PAL president and chief operating officer Stanley Ng.
According to the airline, Da Nang "is a lively coastal city situated close to renowned landmarks like the Marble Mountains and Golden Bridge."
"Da Nang is also an accessible gateway to several UNESCO World Heritage sites, including the Old Town of Hoi An, the archeological ruins of My Son, and the fabled Imperial City of Hue," it said.
Apart from those, popular attractions include My Khe beach, Son Tra Peninsula, Dragon Bridge, and Tran Phu Street.
Flights from NAIA to Da Nang will use Airbus A321 jets, each seating 199 passengers. It will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
