This hotel in Aruba lets you stay for a month for free as its in-house social media creator—here's how to apply
Many hotels offer loyalty programs where they give free accommodation for its members or points that can be redeemed for complimentary stays. But what if you don't have that many points in the first place—or no points at all? Well, this hotel in Aruba will let you stay in theirs for a month if you get accepted as its social media content creator resident.

Last year, Tess Gerdemann, @travelingxelmundo, filled in the role for Boardwalk Boutique Hotel Aruba's content creator. And this year, the establishment is once again opening the job for aspiring content creators and travelers who are creative and have a keen eye for detail.
"I had the amazing opportunity of living in a beautiful hotel in Aruba for 30 nights. So, we got a taste of what life would be like as a resident," Tess said in a video.
The job comes with airfare, a rental car, and a stipend.
Not only that, the content creator will get to experience Boardwak Boutique Hotel's different rooms, including its casitas, which has a fully equipped kitchen, private patio with outdoor dining set, barbeque pit, and a hammock.
They will also have access to its private beach, two pools, spa, and its restaurant.
What the hotel wants from you in exchange is to take show the brand’s “barefoot luxury” and “off-the-beaten-path” adventures available in Aruba through the posts.
“We are thrilled to be offering this incredible opportunity once again,” the sales and marketing manager at Boardwalk Boutique Hotel Aruba Shari Sield said. “Last year’s collaboration with Tess was a huge success, and we received an overwhelmingly positive response from our guests and followers. We can't wait to see what this year's content creator will come up with to showcase our hotel and our island.”
To apply, just fill out the form, which asks you to describe your content style and what makes you fit for the job, and submit before application closes on June 30.
Filipino travelers are permitted to stay in Aruba for up to 90 days, but must first apply for a visa.
To do this, they must submit a completed Caribbean visa application form, along with their passports, ID picture, travel itinerary, proof of sufficient funds, and other supporting documents. They must also pay the visa fee of €80 (P4,900) and apply at least 3 months before they intend to travel.
