This job offers to pay you $1,000 (over P50,000) to eat cheese every night
Calling all cheese lovers! We’ve found the perfect job for you.
The Sleep-Junkie company has an irresistible job offer for dedicated cheese fans as a way to test out a European sleep theory, which claims that having cheese before bed “gives you nightmares.”
They are on the hunt for “dairy dreamers” or “official cheese testers” who will take part in an experiment on the effects of cheese on sleep quality, energy levels, and more. It involves trying out different cheeses—from blue, hard, soft-ripened, and processed to vegan and lactose-free cheese, and beyond.
“As a dairy dreamer, you will eat each kind of cheese every night at the same time before sleeping for a week, taking a week break between each cheese swap to ensure results can be accurately recorded,” according to Sleep-Junkie.
You must be at least 21 years old to be eligible to apply for the job. You should also have your own smartwatch or fitness tracker that monitors sleep, have a consistent sleep schedule, and be willing to sleep by yourself throughout the study. “You should not suffer from any current sleep issues and must not have any dairy or lactose intolerances,” the company added.
“If you are chosen for the role, you will be expected to log your sleep quality via your sleep tracker, but also provide a written evaluation of sleep quality and energy levels throughout the week, and any feedback on dreams and nightmares,” the job description read.
The ones who will get hired for the job would have to work for three months and get paid $1,000 (over P50,000) when the project is completed. Interested applicants may apply until Feb. 10 here.
