Mo-Mo Paradise brings authentic Japanese hotpot to Manila
Mo-Mo Paradise has opened its first branch in the Philippines, introducing its popular shabu-shabu and sukiyaki offerings to Pinoys.
The Japanese hotpot spot, founded in 1993 in Shinjuku Kabukicho, follows an all-you-can-eat concept and is designed for social dinners where you just slow down and cook with your loved ones.
The experience at the restaurant takes a more balanced approach, allowing guests to enjoy at a steady pace rather than breezing through plates.
What’s on the menu
At each table, thinly sliced meats are cooked in gently simmering broths, with options like shabu-shabu, sukiyaki, karamiso, and chicken white collagen offering different flavor profiles—from light and delicate to rich and savory. The process is simple, but the experience feels personal and engaging.
The dining experience revolves around two main course options, each offering unlimited servings.
The Mo-Mo Signature Course (P999+) features premium beef cuts such as short plate and chuck roll, alongside pork, chicken, and a full selection of vegetables, noodles, rice, and sides. It’s a complete and indulgent hotpot experience, ideal for those who want the full range of flavors.
For a lighter option, the Taste of Mo-Mo Course (P888+) focuses on pork and chicken, while still including vegetables, noodles, rice, and other accompaniments.
Diners can grab side dishes for their meats from a vegetable bar stocked with over 20 varieties of locally sourced produce, as well as a drink and dessert station featuring soft serve ice cream, coffee, juices, slushes, and Japanese-style toppings like matcha, kinako, and kuromitsu.
Rice and noodle options include Japanese rice, ramen, and udon.
The space itself, located at SM Megamall, is sleek and inviting. There are communal tables for group dining, as well as a small VIP room for private gatherings.
Mo-Mo Paradise is located on the third floor of SM Megamall Mega Fashion Hall.
