OPM singer Rico Blanco is no stranger to creating experiences that resonate with people. From his chart-topping hits to his unforgettable performances, the artist has always known how to make a lasting impression. Now, he's channeling his creativity into something entirely new—a hotel in La Union called Motel Mambo.

"This La Union hotel has been a dream that took me 8 years to fulfill," the 51-year-old singer shared on Instagram as he invited fellow artists to the hotel including BINI's Maloi, Ben&Ben's Pat Lasaten and Agnes Reoma, Over October's Joshua Caleb Lua, singer-songwriter Ischi, soloists Blaster Salonga and Zild Benitez, and celebrity photographer Shaira Luna.

The former Rivermaya vocalist added, "I'm so blessed and thankful to have talented, hardworking, and fun artist friends taking a much-deserved break, unwinding and recharging with me on my first time back since our doors officially opened."

If you are planning to bring your furry friends, don't worry as the hotel also offers couple loft rooms that are pet-friendly for P3,860 per night, with a non-refundable P1,000 pet fee.

However, there are specific rules when it comes to bringing your pets. You can only bring up to two fur babies—only dogs or cats—and they should be 60 centimeters (2 ft.) tall. Felines should be limited to domestic or house cats.

Moreover, owners must present a valid vaccination record card upon check-in. The pet must also be leashed within the hotel's common area and must wear diapers at all times.

All rooms mentioned are airconditioned and have an ensuite bathroom with a hot shower, a WiFi connection, and a living room.

Motel Mambo is among Rico's business ventures alongside Balcony Music House, a music hall catering to different music artists and music events; his own record label company, Balcony Entertainment; his own clothing brand, Koboi, and Loudbox, an audio production/post studio mainly catering to the Advertising industry, to name a few.
