Bea Alonzo to finally receive her Spain residence card
Bea Alonzo will finally get her residence card in Spain, almost a year after being granted a golden visa for spending approximately P30 million in real estate.
The actress shared her latest life update in a vlog published on Sunday, Nov. 5, where she talked about her preparations for her upcoming 20-day Europe trip with her fiancé, actor Dominic Roque.
“Makukuha ko na ‘yung residency card ko, so I will be an official resident of Spain,” Bea excitedly shared.
The soon-to-be-married couple is set to explore the cities of Milan, Florence, Lugano, and Tuscany before heading back to Madrid, where her apartment is located.
“It’s a really important trip for both Dom and I. Ito rin ‘yung unang beses na makakatira ako sa bahay ko sa Madrid,” she shared.
This comes almost a year after Bea was granted a golden visa, which is a residence visa issued for non-EU nationals "who make a significant investment in Spain, such as buy real estate, invest in a company, or create employment opportunities."
Bea earned her legal resident status through a Residency by Investment program that allows anyone to travel visa-free in the Schengen zone of the European Union or work in Europe given that they will purchase a property worth at least 500,000 euros (or approximately P30 million). She, as well as her mother Mary Anne Ranollo, can also apply for citizenship after two years.
While she now has a legal resident status in Spain, the One More Chance star previously clarified that she will still live in the Philippines.
