Japan’s JACK IN THE DONUTS has opened in this Makati mall
We Pinoys can never say no to a good sweet treat—especially when it comes to donuts.
Great news for dessert lovers: popular Japanese specialty brand JACK IN THE DONUTS has officially opened its very first international branch, right here in Manila; and they have an opening promo just for you!
Now open at Glorietta 4, JACK IN THE DONUTS brings Japan's beloved specialty donuts to the Philippines.
Dessert enthusiasts can look forward to a rotating selection of 25 to 40 donut varieties inspired by flavors from around the globe. Among its must-try offerings is the Soft Malasada—a light, fluffy pastry inspired by Hawaii's iconic treat and one of the brand's top sellers in Japan.
The menu also features Japanese favorites like milk, kinako (roasted soybean flour), and premium Matcha, along with unique doughs infused with real pumpkin and sweet potato. And for Pinoys, there's Soft Malasada Ube!
As part of its expanding international presence, JACK IN THE DONUTS is also introducing a refreshed brand identity designed to bring a touch of joy and playfulness to everyday life. The concept draws inspiration from the artistry of donut-making, using graphic elements reminiscent of chocolate drizzles, icing, and colorful toppings.
"This vibrant concept comes to life throughout the entire experience, from the bright, pop-inspired store interiors and eye-catching takeaway boxes to the cheerful staff uniforms—creating a whimsical, 'toy box-like space' that makes every visit as delightful as the donuts themselves," they wrote.
To celebrate the opening, JACK IN THE DONUTS will be offering a free Old Fashion Donut coupon—which you can redeem during the next store visit—when you buy six donuts in a single transaction. The offer is from July 25 to August 30.
