Weekend hangs: UNKNWN.Returns is here to make Manila dance again
It’s been a long road amid the pandemic, but the Metro is now slowly beginning to step back into the strobe lights—and music & community group UNKNWN is here to make it happen.
Over two years since its last event, UNKWN is bringing its signature brand back to the scene with UNKWN.Returns, their comeback event to be held at Puerta Real Gardens in Intramuros this Saturday, April 30.
In partnership with the Intramuros Administration, UNKNWN.Returns will serve as a return to all things good about Manila nightlife and culture, along with a community coming together to rediscover music in one of the most historical places in the city.
Whether you’re in the mood for bright, uplifting house disco or mind-melting techno, Intramuros is set to light up with something for everyone to enjoy.
What is UNKWN?
Established in 2016, UNKNWN began with a handful of intimate parties staged in different locations all over the Metro, growing its attendance from 200 people to over 1,500 attendees.
Dubbed as a "cultural journey", they've since been delivering bigger venues, bigger sound, bigger events, and more music for its growing community before the pandemic.
Meanwhile, UNKNWN.Returns will be a celebration of local culture—not just because of its storied location, but through its lineup of homegrown talent of 14 DJs across two stages.
"It feels only right to be making a return to UNKNWN in this stunning place, and to welcome everyone back to finally, finally dance together again," the group shared.
UNKNWN.Returns will take place on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Puerta Real Gardens in Intramuros, Manila. Gates open at 5 pm until late at night. Ticket details will be available through UNKWN's Instagram and Facebook pages.
