French fry-flavored vodka becomes the latest strange food innovation amid the pandemic
There are certain offerings that can turn our days up without much effort such as vodka and French fries. But what if these two go-to's get married into one bottle? Would you dare to try it?
We’re specifically talking about Arby’s latest offerings. The American fast-food chain is set to release alcoholic beverages with potatoes as their base. Inspired by its best-selling fries, the new Curly Fry and Crinkle Fry Vodka will only be available in the United States for a limited period. Priced at $59.99 (around P2,999.50), each carries the taste of its crinkle or curly fry flavor amped up with a delightful boozy surprise.
“Though we’ve mastered the art of drive-thru fries, we wanted to take it one step further—by making them 80-proof. Being a potato-based liquor,” said chief marketing officer Patrick Schwing.
The French fry-flavored vodka is just one of the many food innovations that have popped up in the time of the pandemic. Other strange yet exciting items include Nissip Cup Noodle-flavored sodas, Flamin’ Hot Cheetos-flavored Mountain Dew, and so much more.
