Discover a new galaxy in McDonald’s with this Super Mario drop
A new galaxy has just been “discovered,” thanks to the boundless imagination of kids—with a little help from McDonald’s.
The Super Mario Galaxy, inspired by the highly anticipated animated movie of the same name and part of the broader Super Mario universe, was spotted by kids through the Super Mario Happy Meal, a limited-time offer that fans of the beloved video game franchise shouldn’t miss.
“We’re excited to bring the Super Mario Happy Meal to our stores. To bring the experience to the next level, we’re also launching our new Flavor Galaxy Specials—a unique line-up of flavors inspired by the movie that include burgers, floats, and desserts,” said Ada Almendras-Lazaro, McDonald’s Philippines’ chief marketing officer.
Collect and explore the Super Mario Galaxy
Starting April 3, the Super Mario Happy Meal comes with 10 Super Mario Galaxy character toys that can also be used as keychains, including Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Bowser, Yoshi, and more, to collect and display.
Each Happy Meal also includes a Digital Activation Card that can be scanned to unlock an interactive Super Mario Galaxy experience, where you can tap characters to reveal their locations and explore the galaxy.
Enjoy unique flavors inspired by the movie
The fun wouldn't be complete without the new Flavor Galaxy Specials—a must-try lineup of food and drinks, including the Galaxy Truffle Mushroom Cheeseburger, Cosmic Raspberry McFloat, Cosmic Cucumber Melon McFloat, and Hazelrock McFlurry. These limited-time treats will also be available starting April 3 at all McDonald’s stores nationwide.
“We invite everyone—from kids to kids at heart, longtime fans of the video game, and those excited for the movie—to join this adventure at their favorite McDonald’s store. Discover the Super Mario Galaxy through our latest collectibles and enjoy our limited-time food offerings,” Almendras-Lazaro added.
