Japan's Butter Butler opens first store in Manila
December is a season of indulgence, especially when it comes to desserts. From classic cookies to decadent cakes and our favorite Simbang Gabi treats, each one of us has our own holiday favorite.
But if you’re looking for something different to bring to your gatherings or gift to friends and family, Tokyo's Butter Butler has arrived in the Philippines. Now that its buttery goodness is readily available here, there's no need to on your next Japan trip.
Now open at the R2 Level of Power Plant Mall in Rockwell, Tokyo’s Butter Butler is now delighting Filipino fans with its freshly baked buttery pastries.
Patrons can now enjoy the Butter Butler favorites such as the decadent Butter Financier, a rich, moist golden-brown pastry made with European fermented butter and French Guérande salt. It is priced at P640 for 4 pieces, P1,200 for 8 pieces, P1,700 for 12 pieces, and P2,300 for 16 pieces.
Another must-try is the melt-in-your-mouth Butter Galette, a crispy, chewy French pastry. It sells for P690 for 9 pieces.
If you want to try both, there's the Butter Selection which has 8 Butter Financiers and 8 Butter Galette for P1,750 a set.
And to give Filipino fans an extra special treat, Butter Butler has introduced a Manila-exclusive pastry: the Butter Croffle. It combines the crispy, buttery croissant exterior, and the soft, fluffy waffle interior. The Croffle is priced at P135 a piece, and P550 for 5 pieces.
Last Oct. 30, Butter Butler PH teased that it is "excited to bring one of the most popular sweet treats from Tokyo, Japan to Manila, Philippines."
The post read: "Get ready as we [open] our doors to serve the luscious buttery delights this December! Stay tune[d] for exciting updates here at our official social media pages, Master!"
