Moonstar88, The Itchyworms, more to perform at Eraserheads' Electric Fun Music Festival
Attention, music fans! A bountiful lineup of OPM artists is set to grace Eraserheads' first-ever Electric Fun Music Festival this May.
Joining the legendary band for the upcoming show are their fellow OPM veterans Basti Artadi, Dong Abay Music Organization, Imago, Moonstar88, and The Itchyworms.
Music fans will also see the return of all-girl rock band General Luna to the concert stage after being inactive since 2014.
Also in the mix are up-and-coming artists like Blaster, Carousel Casualties, Alyson, Party Pace, Pinkmen, and Sa Vie.
Unlike typical music festivals where all bands perform shortened sets, Eraserheads promises to deliver a full concert set at the much-awaited event to give fans the complete experience they deserve.
Ticket prices start at P1,500 for the bronze section, P3,500 for the silver section, and P6,500 for gold tickets.
Those who want a better view of the stage may opt for a platinum ticket at P8,500, P10,500 for VIP, or SVIP at P12,500. Other perks that they can enjoy include an exclusive Soundcheck Experience and an air conditioned tent, which accommodates 200 people at a time at 30 minutes per batch
SVIP ticket holders will also have the freedom to explore all sections of the festival grounds.
Eraserheads—composed of Ely Buendia, Marcus Adoro, Raimund Marasigan, and Buddy Zabala—broke up in 2002. They teased about a possible reunion in October 2021 when Buendia said they would make a comeback if former Vice President Leni Robredo ran for president. He later backtracked and said it was a "half-serious" joke when Robredo formalized her bid.
They eventually reunited and performed at a sold-out SMDC Festival Grounds venue in 2022. They also held a "Huling El Bimbo" world tour, which took them to the USA, Canada, Singapore, Dubai, Doha, Australia, and New Zealand.
Their documentary film, Eraserheads: Combo on the Run, was recently screened in cinemas from March 21 to 23.
Buendia announced on April 6 that Adoro will be stepping back from the band's upcoming project following new rape allegations against him.
The Eraserheads: Electric Fun Music Festival will take place on May 31 at the SMDC Festival Grounds. If you're itching to watch your favorite artists on the stage, Here's how you can buy tickets for the show.
