In case you missed it, Netflix released a video last week of the music icon herself singing along to the instrumental version of You Oughta Know from Bridgerton's season two soundtrack, with backup music by Kroma Strings and Duomo.
Alanis Morissette’s iconic anthem You Oughta Know can be heard in Season 2 of Bridgerton...
But what would it sound like if @Alanis actually sang along to that orchestral cover? Well, wonder no more! pic.twitter.com/UI2sgJQErQ— Netflix (@netflix) April 1, 2022
Those who binge-watched the entire season know that an orchestral cover of Morisette's hit was used in episode five of the show's second season.
*Mild SPOILERS ahead*
The fifth episode ends with Anthony agreeing to go through with the marriage to Edwina despite his feelings for Kate, with the dramatic episode ending with a string cover of Alanis Morissette’s You Oughta Know.
In the music-video-style production, Morissette belts out the lyrics to her hit song from Jagged Little Pill, originally released in 1995, with the reimagined orchestral arrangement while surrounded by blooms similar to the ones featured in Bridgerton's title sequence.
The Netflix musical performance also features clips of various encounters between Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) and Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley) showing off their undeniable chemistry.

The season one soundtrack included instrumental arrangements of Ariana Grande's Thank U, Next, Billie Eilish's Bad Guy, Taylor Swift's Wildest Dreams, and more.
