'Voltes V: Legacy' cast update: Meet Prince Zardoz and Zandra
Througout this past week, GMA has been holding a cast reveal on its flagship newscast, 24 Oras highlighting the actors in the highly-anticipated Voltes V: Legacy, a live-action series adaptation directed by Mark A. Reyes based on the beloved Japanese anime series Voltes V.
The network revealed on Friday (Feb. 12) the actors who would be portraying Prince Zardoz and Zandra, the major antagonists who the Voltes V team will face off against.
Playing Prince Zardoz is Martin del Rosario. Prince Zardoz (Prince Heinel) is the leader of the Boazanian attack force on Earth and the son of Baron Hrothgar (later Ned Armstrong) and Lozaria.
Meanwhile, Zandra will be portrayed by Liezel Lopez. Zandra (Kazarin Rii) serves as the robotics adviser of the Boazanians and the personal adviser of Prince Zardoz, the commander-in-chief of the Boazanian Invasion Forces, who she falls in love with.

Earlier in the week, the network revealed the members of the Voltes V team, namely Radson Flores as Mark Gordon, Matt Lozano as Robert "Big Bert" Armstrong, Raphael Landicho as "Little Jon" Armstrong, Miguel Tanfelix as Steve Armstrong and Ysabel Ortega as Jamie Robinson.
GMA has yet to reveal the airing date for Voltes V: Legacy.
