According to the official synopsis, Camp Rock 3 "picks up when Connect 3 lose their opening act for a major reunion tour, returning to their beloved Camp Rock to discover the next big thing."
"As campers vie for the chance to open for their favorite band, tensions rise and friendships are tested, leading to unexpected alliances, revelations, and romances," the synopsis continues. "Camp Rock’s all-new campers include bold and determined Sage (Segura) and her easygoing brother Desi (Stone), cello prodigy Rosie (Pollack), drummer with his own beat Cliff (Trotter), choreo queen Callie (Pitts), intimidating influencer Madison (Jean) and camp bad boy Fletch (Barton)."
On Instagram, Disney+ shared a Reel showing the Jonas Brothers and the Camp Rock crew in Canada, where the fictitious Camp Rock was originally filmed.
"Camp Rock! It's so good to be back," Nick says on stage while flanked by Joe and Kevin.
Toward the end of the video, Nick directly addresses the viewers, saying, "It's time to head back to camp."
Joe, in a separate Instagram post, shared a Reel of him wearing sunglasses, a leather jacket, a white shirt, and a pair of denim pants. He does a little runway walk on a deck overlooking a lake before facing the camera and walking forward.
"I'm Shane Gray for crying out loud," he mumbles, as the chorus of his and Lovato's iconic song This is Me plays.
The original Camp Rock movie premiered in 2008. It starred Lovato as Mitchie Torres, a talented but shy teenager who attends the prestigious summer camp called Camp Rock. She befriends Shane Gray (Jonas), a pop star who's also in the camp to rediscover his love for music.
A sequel, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, was released in 2010.
