What if you can travel back in time to meet your late lover, would you dare take the risks it may bring?
This is the question Netflix's new K-drama A Time Called You wants to ask viewers when it premieres in September.
In the trailer released on Aug. 24, Hallyu stars Jeon Yeo-been and Ahn Hyo-seop portrays the couple Han Joon-Hee and Yeon-Joo who are deeply in love with each other.
The clip starts with Yeon-Joon asking Joon-Hee the reason why he is fond of time-travel movies. "You can go back to the past and change the future," he answers, as clips of the couple smiling sweetly at each other are flashed in the background.
What begins as a kilig-filled love story later turns tragic when the trailer shows Joon-Hee losing his life from a vehicular accident. Mystery unfolds as Yeon-Joon wakes up in the year 1998 and meets someone with an uncanny resemblance to her late lover.
The trailer ends with a heart-breaking scene where Joon-Hee looks into Yeon-Joon eyes and tells her, "No matter when or where you are, we will definitely meet again."
A Time Called You is a remake of 2019 Taiwanese drama series Someday Or One Day. It is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on September 8.
