‘Four Sisters and a Wedding’ prequel set to stream in December

The Salazar sisters are all set for a comeback on our screens, as Star Cinema launches the film Four Sisters Before the Wedding in December.

The movie takes us back to the teenage years of Salazar sisters Teddie, Bobbie, Alex, and Gabbie, who gave us so much feels—not to mention iconic memefied hugot lines—in the 2013 cult-favorite Four Sisters and a Wedding.

The previous film starred ABS-CBN leading ladies Toni Gonzaga as Teddie, Bea Alonzo as Bobbie, Angel Locsin as Alex, and Shaina Magdayao as Gabbie. Kapamilya actor Enchong Dee portrayed the Salazar sisters' only brother, CJ.

This year will give us a fresh take on the characters, as young stars Charlie Dizon, Alexa Ilacad, Gillian Vicencio, Belle Mariano, and Clarence Delgado will front the much-awaited drama.

Aside from the love-hate relationship of the siblings, Director Mae Cruz-Alviar revealed a new plot twist that viewers can look forward to in the film. "Ito 'yung mahabang flashback ng Salazar family, because it's not just the sisters this time," she said in an interview with Star Cinema. "The parents' story is also integral to the Salazar sisters, to the family's story. Maraming bakit na masasagot dito. 'Ah ganun pala, ah kaya pala.’"

Four Sisters Before the Wedding will stream worldwide on KTX.ph, iWantTFC, IPTV, Cignal PPV, and Sky Cable PPV for P150 per ticket.
